Briquettes are small metallic “Tablets” or “Cylinders”, manufactured through a process of pressing (briquetting) metal chips or powders.

 

      Metal powder briquettes are cold pressed in roller briquetting machines, with the addition of binders to provide mechanical resistance to the final product.

      The chip briquettes are cold pressed in hydraulic briquettING machines, without the need to add any binder.

 

      The objective of pressing these metallic powders is to extract liquids/oils and increase the density of the material, so that it can be used more efficiently in the melting process in electric furnaces.
